Don Ray was born in Los Angeles California in 1938. He discovered his passion and talent for the arts while attending California's public schools. He went on to New York's Art Student League to receive advanced training and later apprenticed with sculptors Ken Kaiser and Jose DeGreff. Skip Rohde was an officer in the U.S. Navy for over 22 years. After retiring in 1999, he went back to school and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating in 2003. Adrian RiceAdrian was born in Belfast in 1958. He is a poet and editor. Being an established poet on the Arts Councils' 'Writers-in-schools' schemes, he teaches creative writing workshops in schools & colleges throughout Ireland. His first sequence of poems appeared in Muck Island (1990), a collaboration with leading Irish artist, Ross Wilson. His second poetry sequence, Impediments (Abbey Press, 1997), also earned him widespread critical acclaim. In 1997, he received the Sir James Kilfedder Memorial Bursary for Emerging Artists.
