The secret to so much of my cooking lies in caramelized onions. I slice them thin and cook on low heat with a bit of olive oil until nice and sweet. Usually it takes about 20 minutes. (They are great on grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches.) So, take some of those yummy onions and mix with other ingredients and plop into a loaf pan or free form onto a nice little mound on a cookie sheet. Cook for approximately one hour. I use a thermometer for all of my meat cooking in the oven. It keeps me from drying out anything. This is a try at your own risk recipe. When I made it I was just throwing stuff together and it turned out great. So, good luck.
