Baked Oatmeal
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 TBL Baking Powder
- 5 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 TBL butter
- 1/4 tsp fleur de sel
- 4 diagonally sliced baggette slices 1/3 inch thick
Mix all wet ingrediants and add oatmeal and raisins at the end. Place in sprayed 9 x 13 pyrex and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
I used to serve this with a banana foster sauce but found it to be too rich. So, I now serve with fresh bananas and cream fresh and decorate with swirls of butterscotch ice cream topping.
