Gran marnier french toast
- 6 eggs
- grated orange rind from one orange
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup grand marnier
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 TBL sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 slices 3/4 dense bread
- Powdered sugar
Beat eggs and add all remaining ingredients. Pour in shallow bowl and dip bread slices to coat. Place in a single layer in dish and pour remaining batter over slices. Cover and refrigerate over night. Melt butter in large skillet and cook on medium high heat. Garnish with powdered sugar and orange slices.
