monte cristo

• 6 Croissants
• 12 slices Gruyere cheese (Swiss is fine)
• 1 lb shaved turkey of good quality
• 1 cup Fresh or frozen strawberries
• Strawberry jam

This is my easiest one but one of everyone's favorite. Slice croissants and put divide turkey evenly on bottom half. Place 2 slices of cheese on top and replace the top. Cover and put in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes until cheese is melted. In the meantime cook jam onto of oven and throw in whole berries at the end just to heat up Do not let them loose their shape. Place a Monte Christo on each plate and add jam with berries to the top. Sprinkle with chopped parseley and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Bon appetite ya'll.
